Using A Sanitaire SC899F To Post-Vacuum After Carpet Cleaning...
This carpet, cleaned the evening before,, is being post-vaccumed to raise the nap of the carpet prior to raking. Since the purpose is to fluff the carpets, not remove dirt, it can be done in whatever pattern one chooses, though we used our usual pre-vac pattern. By making overlapping passes, from perpendicular directions, you can be sure every part of the carpet is vacuumed more than once. But in this case, not much dirt will be removed like in a pre-vacuum.

Truckmount Follow Up Cleaning
This carpet was cleaned a few days prior with a truck mount. The carpet had a bad smell, so they took up the carpet, cleaned the sub floor, installed new pad, and re-installed and cleaned the carpet.
The manager inspected their work and felt the carpet hadn't been thoroughly cleaned, so she hired us to re-clean it.

Simple Green Carpet Cleaning Test
Using a Rug Doctor X-3, and Simple Green All Purpose Cleanser to clean the carpet in a rental unit. The carpet was thoroughly vacuumed prior to the application of Simple Green at full strength to the carpet with a pump-up sprayer.
After ten minutes "dwell time" the extractor was used (having only hot tap water within) to remove the dirt, stains, and all the residue until carpet was thoroughly rinsed.
Carpet took six hours to dry (humid conditions) and all the stains were successfully removed.

Oreck Orbitor 550MC Cleaning An Apartment
Using the Oreck Orbitor, and their Carpet Brush and Carpet Bonnet to clean an apartment with worn and lightly stained carpet.
Most of the stains come out pretty easily with a spray of detergent and the Carpet Brush attachment...(we used Simple Green at full strength on spots, and Fabuloso at approx 20% with water for everthing else).
After fully scrubbing in the detergent we switched to the bonnet to scrub a little more and to absorb the prespray and any loose dirt...
